Janara Christensen

I recently joined Google as a Research Scientist. My research interests primarily lie in Natural Language Processing, Summarization, and Information Extraction. I received my PhD from the Computer Science and Engineering department at the University of Washington, under the supervision of Mausam and Oren Etzioni, with the generous support offered by an NSF Graduate Research Fellowship, and a Google Anita Borg Scholarship. I went to Carleton College for my undergraduate degree where I worked with David Musicant and David Liben-Nowell.
